We love this place! Steaks and service are wonderful.
2 hours to get food served. People were sat after us, ate and left before we were served. Food was good. Even though the meal was comp, we wont go back.
I made reservations for valentine's day for 7. We arrived at 6:50 was not acknowledged until 7. We sat and waited until 8 for our table. We were finally seated we placed our order and it's now 9:00 and still no food. We waisted 2 hours just sitting. I understand that it was a Busy day but 2 hours of nothing except a salad.

I had the best steak outside of Texas at Young’s Restaurant. I had this huge 32oz steak that I couldn’t finish. It tasted like it was cooked on an open fire pit. If you visit the New Orleans area make sure you stop over in Slidell and visit Young’s Restaurant. You won’t regret it!
Youngs Steakhouse is simply the best, period. I have been dining at Youngs for years and its more than just the awesome meals that keep me going back. Craig Young is an ubelievable chef, his bar and wait staff are superb and we always have a great time when we are there. Please go and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed I promise.... Enjoy!
He takes tip money from the wait staff and pays the bus boys from it rather than from his pocket like a respectable owner would do. Also he does not even pay his wait staff by the hour, they are being neglected their pay by hour.
