I'm so confused with the previous post. I was at Young's last night and it was amazing! The food delicious, and the waiter was very accommodating, and attentive! The staff delightful!
We used to go to Young's all the time before Katrina, & it was delicious! After that it slowly started going downhill. We hadn't been there in years but decided to see if it had improved. We've been twice within the last 6 months (once was not our choice), & both times were terrible! Even with a reservation we waited - last time it was about an hour! The place itself stinks of mildew,waiters pour water overfill glasses onto carpeted floor,,Swear to GOD my date and I watched one hell of a three way RAT fight in the rear dining room which stunk to high heaven...Overall kitchen and entire place was filthy,be carefull don't touch anything,,, Lobster sucked ,my date said it smelled.. I assume it was the owner who came out,, only to challenge her,,, But my steak not worth eating.... TRUST ME NEVER GOING AGAIN!!!
Had an extremely disappointing evening back in January. No bar staff , when seated ignored. Long wait for drinks, had to ask for bread that when it eventually came ended up being a door step slice of half toasted bread. One meal out of 5 was so late the others had nearly finished. One of the steaks was fill of gristle. Emailed and complained got a quick response with the promise of a gift voucher so we could go again. Now over 2 month later not recieved anything although I have sent emails saying I haven't recieved anything.... read more
Got there at 6:15 was seated 30 minutes later finally got our drinks. Ordered 20 minutes later got salads mines was all the hard parts of the lettuce. Another 20 minutes got steaks. Forgot my shrimp 15 minutes finally got burnt shrimp. No happy
