Yobo?s opened in January of 1980. Upon extensive travels thru out the Orient, Henry and Yung Jae (Mita) Raacke decided to share their experiences and opened Yobo?s in Newburgh, New York. They created the first Pan-Asian restaurant. Offering cuisine from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China. The Raacke?s and Japanese artist Sasaki designed an outdoor village in an interior space. I had been there before and the food was great. We went for mother's day and the food was still great. Sometines you go to a restaurant and because it is a special day the food quality changes, not in this case. Had the happy family and the yobo rice...delish. We also ordered sesame chicken and that was one of the best sesame chickens I have tasted in a while.
Absolutely the best food we've had out in Orange County!
Loved the good sized cups of jasmine tea. They have a very interesting citrus spritz on one of their makis
The hostess Christine was very rude. She had us waiting over an hour for a table when she said our table would be available in 15 minutes. She got in some fight with one of the servers in the back. And came back smelling of marijuana. Very unprofessional.
The hostess I believe her name was Christine had shit running down her leg? Disgusting. Left immediately.
