Yobo?s opened in January of 1980. Upon extensive travels thru out the Orient, Henry and Yung Jae (Mita) Raacke decided to share their experiences and opened Yobo?s in Newburgh, New York. They created the first Pan-Asian restaurant. Offering cuisine from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China. The Raacke?s and Japanese artist Sasaki designed an outdoor village in an interior space. RecommendedI was there today to pick up order for hubby birthday. The staff was beyond excellent. Asked if I wanted hot tea. If I wanted to sit and wait. They were just beyond awesome. Not knowing who I was married too. The electrician they takes care of place. DEBBIE. You had a great staff today. 11/19/19. Approx 4 pm.
We've been going to Yobo for almost 30 years and we love it for family occasions, lunch or dinner with friends,a couples night out, or I just go to relax on my own. It's beautiful, relaxing, and friendly. The service is great and the food is wonderful

The food is amazing here. We have celebrated many birthdays here and have always a great experience and great service. Love coming here and highly recommend it.
DO NOT eat at this place. There was a sharp piece of glass as long as my finger in my chicken hibachi that I almost had in my MOUTH before I realized what it was. The owner's response was "it's not our glass" (whaat? where else would it have come from?") and then called the COPS on us when we protested paying the bill. They are incredibly lucky I didn't get hurt. Don't eat at Yobo-- they will serve you glass on a plate and call the cops on you!
feels like ur eating in rural Japan
This was our first visit to Yobo as we were visiting our son who lives in Newburgh. Excellent rolls and the scorpion bowls were delicious. The inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the staff was super friendly, we’ll be back on our next visit for sure! — with Dwayne Taylor.
