Yobo?s opened in January of 1980. Upon extensive travels thru out the Orient, Henry and Yung Jae (Mita) Raacke decided to share their experiences and opened Yobo?s in Newburgh, New York. They created the first Pan-Asian restaurant. Offering cuisine from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China. The Raacke?s and Japanese artist Sasaki designed an outdoor village in an interior space. I was 4 years old when I started going to Yobo (Back in 1980 when they opened) it was my absolute favorite place. I went with my husband and 7 year old, he loved it so much we went back tonight... As I was waiting for the food, it brought a smile to my face... so many beautiful memories and now more memories with my family. The only thing missing is Mita (the founder of Yobo) otherwise everything else is the same, it was a nice Tribute seeing her picture!
5 Stars for the food, the service, the ambiance and the beautiful decor. This restaurant has been our favorite for many years, and will probably always be our favorite. We highly recommend it.

I just simply love It! Whether you eat or take out! Excellent food and service! I love that they always give you tea even if you are waiting for take out! The sushi is awesome!!
