Yobo?s opened in January of 1980. Upon extensive travels thru out the Orient, Henry and Yung Jae (Mita) Raacke decided to share their experiences and opened Yobo?s in Newburgh, New York. They created the first Pan-Asian restaurant. Offering cuisine from Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China. The Raacke?s and Japanese artist Sasaki designed an outdoor village in an interior space. Carpets are worn and dirty. Very dated and odd smell in dining room. Time for some updating!

Just had dinner at Yobo’s for the first time. Food and service were excellent. I loved the look of the interior. The only think I didn’t like was being charged for each Pepsi and seltzer that we drank especially as the glasses are small. Everything else was so good though so I guess we’ll have to deal with that. We’ll definitely be going back.
Always enjoy the food, service and drinks. The appetizers are always tasty and good selection.
We have been dining at Yobo's for more almost 35 years. Each experience is unique and wonderful in terms of both dining and service. Debbie and Debbie are gracious hosts and ensure that each guest is happy with their dining experience.
Excellent service, comfortable atmosphere and a large variety of options on the menu from the appetizers, sushi, main course and dessert, all tasting fresh and authentic.
Great food and fantastic atmosphere! I found it utterly charming.
