As a recent transplant to Dallas, this was my first visit to YO. It won't be my last. There is a very different vibe about this place. The maitre d' greeted me with the warmest, most inviting, gracious and formal tone I have seen in years. But the general atmosphere, once seated, was rather relaxed and almost casual. Steak Salad was very good and service was excellent (ask for Rochelle).
Smoked filet was excellent, recommend ordering medium rare though. Love the side also! The grits are the �.com!

I would love to be reviewing the food right now, but we were turned away at the door. Apparently even in this day and age the servers and hosts at this restuarant are still snooty booty judging people on their appearance. We came in at 6:30pm today looking to have our party of 2 sat. The host/server stepped towards us immediately upon entering. He said there was only bar seating available until after 8pm. The lunch menu is not extravagantly priced. A working man can go in there , order lunch , and enjoy the excellent service and food . Go in you won't be disappointed. EVER .
