Was very impressed by the quality of meal. Service was top notch!
Atmosphere was very inviting & comfortable, our server was impeccable, and the food was stellar! To start we had the Deep Ellum Cheese Fritters... these little fried bites of sweet & spicy deliciousness were a perfect start! Next course was salad - husband had Caesar and I had the Y.O. Our meals for Restaurant Week were fantastic! Our seating reservations were for 8:00pm.We were seated and enjoyed the knowledgeable staff. Our table ordered Venison/mushroom bread pudding and Pork Chops/cheese grits....all excellent! But desserts---the flourless chocolate cake....the Jack Daniels pecan pie... and the prickly pear sorbet were all over the top with taste & presentation. Go!! Eat!! ENJOY!!!! We did!!

We were visiting Dallas for the weekend (8/5) and found this restaurant while walking downtown. I think we were dressed too casual for this place and the look on the Host's face also said so. His greeting wasn't too friendly. (Maybe he thought we couldn't afford it?) HOWEVER, we decided to try the restaurant anyway. Our waitress was very friendly and gave great recommendations.
