A great place to meet people and get in shape at the same time. Provides a variety of ways to get and stay in shape.
I LOVE the Lima Y! I always found it difficult to make the time to go to the gym since I have 3 kids, but with the free babysitting, it's so easy for my family! I love that classes are free for members! I'm taking 3 classes now. When I'm done working out, I take my kids down to the therapy pool. It's nice & warm & the kids love to swim. The life guards need to learn to blow their whistle. Seriously had to stop twice because little kids kept coming into the lap lanes.
Some of the machines could be updated. The touch screens are unresponsive.
Staff is rude and NO one in the aquatics dept knows what's going on and they don't return phone calls. I'm still waiting on a refund from private swim lessons that never happened because no one ever called me to set them up. Disappointing
It's a very family oriented place and that itself makes me feel safe and happy to share my children's childhood memories there ..Very pleased and the staff is very considerate and helpful
