I used to live in this area and LOVE Ye Olde Steakhouse although it is pricey! We had a party of 11 for my mother's birthday this evening...three of us were vacationing in Sevierville, and the rest drove almost 2 hours. Reservation was prepared when we arrived. I had the 8oz filet with a mound of woodshed potatoes. Steak was well flavored and tender enough to cut with a fork when cooked to a perfect medium well. No steak sauce needed here! Went for dinner on Saturday 4/9 with my husband. We were seated right away, even though they were quite busy. For appetizer, we had the charcoal grilled shrimp which was perfect. For dinner, my husband ordered a 30 oz. Ribeye (it's really nice that you can request the size you want). I had the Ribeye and Shrimp dinner. Again, just perfect. Service was fast and good. It's definitely worth the price. We'll be back again.
Over priced, staff was friendly, quick service and seating. Prime Rib was mostly fat, nothing special here, nice eatery, but not worth the price. Shame because we have been loyal customers for 6 yrs. gone down hill on quality and up on price.
Best Filet Steak (which is very tender) that I've ever ate. Over the years I've tried several things but the Filet, Shrimp, Baked Potato and Buttered Mushrooms is my favorite. They have a variety of desserts but the Red Velvet & Italian Cream Cake is delicious. They are now excepting reservations if there's 5 or more in the group. Never disappointed with anything I've ever ordered.
It was much like an old truck stop.. In fact my worst truck stop meal was better.. A sad disappointment.. If you always wanted to try it... Dont.. Go to Ruths Chris Steakhouse you will be much better off..
Great steaks and sides. The sweet potato and fries are excellent!!! The porterhouse was just juicy and flavorful. Plus love the "antique" atmosphere of the restaurant. NOT CHEAP but great food!!!
One of my favorite eateries in all of America. Nothing crazy fancy here just a great steakhouse staffed by friendly locals. You can custom order ANY size of cut you want, so you are not limited by menu sizes i.e. 8oz Filet. The broccoli casserole is insane as is their home made, made from scratch blue cheese dressing. Locals literally swing by in the am to buy this stuff by pints, quarts and gallons for barbeques, parties, and holiday celebrations.
Wasn't impressed, steak was so tuff we couldn't chew it. They really didn't think care when we told them.
