It was delicious. Sick as I am, I refused to dishonor such great steak with an upset stomach.
I've eaten at Ye Olde Steak House twice in my life, once in 1987 and again in 2017. The food and service are beyond excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best steakhouses I have visited. The environment was very welcoming and staff was extremely friendly.
I read some questionable reviews lately, but last night didn't disappoint. I ate like a horse and enjoyed every minute of it. Fried Dill Pickles, Fried Mushrooms, a 12-ounce prime rib (that looked like 20), taters, and hot fudge cake. I even brought in my own bottle of wine, which the kind staff uncorked for a mere $ 2.50.

Really enjoyed the service and the food. It was exciting to visit Knoxville and get away from the hotel to visit this establishment. They do serve beer � however wine or liquor you'll need to bring your own. House blue cheese dressing should be bottled and sold nationwide. Medium rare is very rare so you likely will need to order medium if you want a warm red center IMO. Will make this a standard stop on any future trips to Knoxville for work.
