Think You've Seen It All?! Do you think you've seen it all?! Well, not yet until you've stopped by The Old Curiosity Shop down on Pier 54 in Seattle. The things you only think happen in fairytales, you'll see preserved in Giant Jars. Three headed pigs, shrunken heads, who wouldn't want to go peruse the shop?

Their name says it all Yes this place is full of oddities and cool neat things. It's a great place to find that unique gift, or to just look around and see all the strange things that I'm not even sure how to describe. Kids love coming here and always seem to get a kick out of squishing a penny. It's a big part of Seattles history and it's been here for what seems like forever.

A tourist must If you have friends in town or just want to enjoy a stroll on the Pier, you must stop at the Olde Curiosity Shop. It has been around for years and a great place to find unique gifts and a taste of Seattle.

This shop is a little kooky, but great! There are certain parts about this store that creep me out. The mummies, the wierd specimens in jars in the back corner, but overall this store is a Seattle must-see. They have everything from games, to toys, to Seattle souvineers, to sites that you would behold anyplace else. It's more of a museum than a shop in my book, but it is great fun - espeically when you take time to play in the shop.

Satisfies Curiosity! This shop located on the waterfront in downtown. It's a favorite place to take tourists because it's unlike any other store you've ever been into! Almost like a museum with the weird artifcats that they have on display. You really have to see it to believe it. It's the best place to buy anything Seattle related because prices are really reasonable and they have a wide selection.

Great prices on souvenirs and so many neat things here! Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is located on the Seattle Waterfront, just north of the Ferry Terminal and Ivar's Fish & Chips (look for the dancing clam on the weathervane). This is THE place to buy Seattle-related souvenirs---don't spend high dollars getting a pencil at the Space Needle---come here and get the same pencil for under $1 (instead of $3 there!). They have a huge selection of t-shirts, key chains, ashtrays, etc. Also, take a look around the place and see all the ne... read more

For the Adventurous Tourist Ever since I was a kid my parents used to take me to this shop as the highlight of our trips to downtown Seattle. It was a real treat because you were constantly wondering whether or not the trinkets in this place were real or false. It's a great place for tourists, out of town guests, and/or friends. There's a ton of tourist stuff to buy here that's authentic to Seattle too. Some of the things you might find here include: shrunken heads, pigs with three tails, and even a mummy. The shop is locate... read more

Odd but Interesting This is a cute tourist trap on Seattle's Waterfront. This store is one of those not to miss ones. While the shopping is very ho-hum (think tourist gift type items, ie shirts, toys, etc) there is a bigger draw. This store has many authentic historical items shich as coins, knives, and baskets. The largest draw is the 2 mummies that you can get up close and personal with. Well, not that personal as they are behind glass, but close enough for my tastes. They also have a collection of shrunken heads which wer... read more
