Yard House is a great addition to Raleigh's lively social scene. The first of its kind opened in 1996 in South Carolina and today the franchise has made its mark across the country. Founder, Steele Platt, along with Harald Herrmann and Carlito Jocson, were looking to design a restaurant around an exquisite beer list and delicious American cuisine. The appetizers and entrees were very good. However, the service was slow and they did not appear to be busy. The waiter was very friendly.
The food was incredible, it was a nice comfortable atmosphere and they even had meal options for our son!
It was extremely busy. We had about a 30 minute wait. The food was delicious, and it was a fun atmosphere. It was really loud! It would have been nice to be able to converse with each other without yelling. The only downside was the 30 to 45 minute wait for our food after the order was taken. I’m assuming that was due to the high volume of customers. I would go back, but probably not on a Saturday night.
The bartenders were attentive which is very important as I sat at the bar. I tried the Vampire taco not sure what to expect but it was awesome Highly recommend. The salted watermelon marg was good too and I usually dont do mixed drinks but because it was made with premium ingredients, I opted to. Crowd was meh but guess because it was early night (10pm)

Great beer selection ... choose the flights if you want to have some fun and try new tastes
