This was wonderful. The best steam/sauna experience I have had in a very long time. Totally unique, quiet and respectful. The caves were weird and cool and interesting. I will definitely be back.
Awesome experience! There is something mystical about laying or sitting on natural stone with gentle sounds of trickling water, 100% humidity and 114 degrees.
The massage was great. The vapor caves were very nice. Now for the worst experience ever. I called to make an appointment and was told I could not be understood by the lady at the front desk. finally made and appointment which made me really not want to go anymore. However I went and when I got the with my friend the front desk made me repeat myself a number of times and just made my over all visit terrible. The spa at the Yampah caves is unorganized and they did not honor a group rate that was negotiated months before the group arrived. They charged everyone full price and refuse to honor the discount that was negotiated. Their cancel policy is 24 hours so now the group is stuck paying full price! Moreover the manager in the spa, Josh, was a complete jerk to the group and to the organizer.
