My daughter's ordeal is only just beginning. After 2 tests requiring sedation at CCMC had her scared, put under anesthesia while in tears and asking "what are you doing?" one time and nurses arguing in front of her and putting the IV in while she screamed for mom -when I was just finishing with the Doctor and begging them to wait a minute, another time.... Just received a thoughtful hand written note from 2 of our nurses we had while at Yale for the birth of our son. Above and beyond service.
Amazing place! I trusted the nurses and doctors with my 8 month old son. They did everything they possibly could to get him hydrated without sticking a iv in him and gave him a teddy bear! I was very happy when I left and glad that they treated him great and cared for him.
Yesterday We've visited the Children Emergency Room with my daughter suffering a severe abdominal pain for 10 days. After we' ve visited several doctors without a diagnostic we decided to go to Yale I never could made a better decision.Everyone from the nurses, assistants to Doctors were amazing. Very compasionate, professional, nice, beyond of their work,etc, etc...(I could continue with compliments). Finally they diagnosed her with Mesenteric Adenitis caused in her case by a virus.
