Fantastic doctors and great bedside staff! The PICU and surgical team staff took fantastic care of my son who had open heart surgery! Made a scary experience easier! I can't ever thank you all for everything!
My son had a biopsy and I enjoyed my stay at the hospital. The nurses were so kind and funny and they made my child feel less nervous. They treated him and myself really well, they made sure we were comfortable and they monitored him and they asked many questions to make sure everything was okay. They also made sure that me, my husband and my child knew what was going on. They explained the entire procedure and even offered to bring in an interpreter to make sure (which they did). My son had surgery on 4/25/2016 we stayed on 7.2. I was overwhelmed by the excellent care that we received. They not only care for my son but went out of there way to ensure that I was ok. I work for a hospital not Yale. I was nervous about not being at my hospital where we are all family. Within minutes of arriving at the surgery check in the kept us updated every step of the way.
