I took our son to the Yale Childrens Hospital on Saturday with low expectations of the experience. We were IMMEDIATELY taken in and triaged (thankful there was no one in the waiting room at the time we arrived). We were whisked towards a private room when by son had a huge bout of anxiety making him unconsolable. Fear is a powerful thing. The ER doctor immediately attended to his needs, understood and had compassion for his anxiety and treated him for that so we could move on to the real reason we were there. My daughter was born there with Heart problems. She had 3 heart surgeries there and I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors and nurses, they made a rough experience bearable Thank you all....
