This place is abysmal! Management and staff are rude, unprofessional, dismissive and constantly pressuring you to spend more money. Sinks are constantly broken, as is the one water fountain serving the entire gym. Elevators are perpetually broken down, and the gym is on the 5th floor. This location has been closed since March (understandable), but they are still charging monthly fees even though this and all nearby locations remain closed, which is just theft, plain and simple. I'm continuing to get the runaround from sales and management staff about cancelling my private training contract signed just before the pandemic hit. After signing me up because they "care about my health goals," it is UNBELIEVABLE that they would be so unsympathetic during this time. When I couldn't get anyone on the phone at the gym, I went in to speak to a manager. Gym has been closed since March and have not addressed any possibilities of reopening, though I was just charged $49.95 for my membership to a gym that’s not operating.
Unprofessional and unorganized. They had to close in March which of course I understand. Illinois allowed gyms to reopen in June. While I also understand if you don’t feel safe reopening you shouldn’t. It’s the lack of communication and professionalism why this gym sucks. They haven’t said anything about reopening or why they’re staying closed. I canceled my membership and switched to a better managed gym.

Gym won’t address reopening. They also continue to charge us even though we can’t use the facility.
Due to the pandemic, I have decided to cancel my membership. I cancelled it online or at least I thought I did. This month I got a bill from xsport even though they are closed. To cancel it asks for a delivered certified letter..... this is unacceptable for such a large company. They are making it difficult for members and are charging them even though we can’t use the gym. I’m very disappointed and will be using a different gym when gyms reopen.
The XSPORT Lakeview (Ashland location) just opened up due to COVID-19.The surprising thins is that management is not taking care the safety of the members. How come at 5 AM there are no paper towels available in most of the dispensers for us members clean the equipment. How come the signs in the machines that aer not available to be used are moved or on the floor.
