About this business

This low-key Rick Bayless eatery is inspired by Mexican street taco stands. Bayless serves up creative tortas, sandwiches, and a number of caldos (soups), sure to warm anyone up on a cold winter day. The pozole is a healthier take on the traditional dish. The pozole is made with chicken instead of pork, and though it is usually served on weekends at most Mexican eateries, here it's served here daily. It was alright nothing really stood out for me. As for my first time there the place overall was appealing but when it came time to order the process was a bit rushed. You had to order before being seated and pay as well lt felt like a fast food restaurant. Like a Chipotle but Chipotle has better tasting food. I ordered a the Cubana sandwich as I am Cuban man the sandwich wasn't good you couldn't enjoy the taste of it there was bacon and this hot sauce didnt taste the pickle or the seasoned park the ham or swiss cheese. I'll... read more

I would give more starts if I could. We tried XOCO last night with our food allergy daughter. I spoke with the manager Maria on the phone the day before we came down. From the initial phone call to absolutely every second of our experience Maria was wonderful. I've NEVER experienced such treatment with our daughter. Rather than treat my daughter as a challenge she made us all feel like royalty. The food was also amazing. Thank you, Maria! You truly made our trip something special!!
