I signed an agreement with World Tile in Patchogue to do my kitchen renovation and provided them a substantial deposit. I was subsequently told the price would have to increase because of the type of granite and backsplash. An increase in price of granite was unwarranted when I found out the one chosen was in the low to average price range. Unhappy with my experiences, I requested a refund. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. My experience was horrific. I provided World Tile in Patchogue a substantial downpayment to renovate my kitchen with tile and granite selected in their showroom. The price they worked up was done off of a measurements I provided to them. I was unable to find a similar slab of granite in the first two locations they sent me to. They claimed to have found it and told us "the granite we chose was expensive and we were going to have to talk about the price". This was the secon... read more
