Dealing with this company was the worst consumer experience I have ever had. The salespeople do not follow up on orders and everything took three times as long to arrive as stated. I would never recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I own a summer home in the Hamptons and we wanted to update the kitchen and 3 bathrooms. World Tile in Patchogue had the most unique and largest selection that we found anywhere. There prices were much better than all the other tile stores we shopped. The salesperson sketched us a drawing of the kitchen and each bathroom, so we could visualize exactly what it would look like. Actually NOOOO Stars. Business Currupt, Tom Castalano a crook, Takesx deposits, uses other corporation to hide behind and does not do the installation nor deliver the tile. Terrible business. Terrible person. waiting 9 months for installation, gave deposit and job not done. DO NOT USE.

I ordered tile in February 2009. One week before the contractor was supposed to start, I went to the store to check on the order. I was told it would be in that week. I called 3 times on a Friday if check on the order. My calls were not returned. The contractor was supposed to start the project on Monday. I called again on Monday; my call was not returned. I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT WORLD TILE THEY HELPED ME WITH MY WHOLE HOUSE THAT I RECENTLY HAD A FIRE IN. I PURCHASED 2 BATHROOMS WOOD FLOORING AND ALL MY CARPET FROM THEM AND THEY DID AND EXCELLENT JOB WITH ALL OF IT. I CAN'T BELIEVE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT THOSE GUYS IT MUST BE THE COMPETITION TRYING TO STEER PEOPLE AWAY. DON'T LISTEN THEY WERE GREAT.

I was the first person to write a review on this site "Horrific Experience". I received a call a few months ago by a dissatisfied customer that was having trouble getting back cash that was paid. I am a valid customer, not the phantom competitor. This information can be authenticated. I had to provide my credit card company with a letter detailing conversations and all proof showing good faith that I tried to get my refund back. THIS IS A GREAT STORE AND THEY HAVE THE BIGGEST SELECTION I WENT EVERYWHERE IN THE AREA THEY HELPED ME VERY PROFESSIONALLY I ORDERED MY BATHROOM TILE AND GOT IT WHEN THEY TOLD ME I WOULD. IGNORE ANY NEG REVIEWS BECAUSE IT HAS TO BE THE JEALOUS COMPETITION MAKING UP STORIES

I just bought a new townhouse and i closed on dec 15th and i needed to move in by dec 22nd. I needed all new flooring carpet tile and wood floors aprox 3500 sq ft. I went to world tile in patchogue and they were excellent i dealt with JJ and he helped me pick out and design my whole layout. Another story made up about a 77 year old lady that did not get the tile she picked out. This is total b.s. there is no such customer at world tile.Just another story made up by a competitor We challenge you to come in to our store and we will give the tile for free if you are real and telling the truth.
