I recently had an awful expierience with world tile of Patchogue. They completely lied to me and took my money refusing refund. I explained to the owner that the tile delivered was not what my Mother (77 years old) picked out... he said he had nothing to do with picking out the tile... Do I waste my time and money going through the courts or just talk my Mother into "Living with it"....?

Just for the record all these negative reviews are made up stories from employees that work at a competitor tile store. I know this because i worked their as well.The owner told all the emplyees to go on the internet and write bad things about world tile or they would not get their paychecks. I would not participate in this malicous behavior so i quit.I happen to know the guys at world tile and they are great people and would never do anything to harm anyone.The competitor is just scared because they are losing so much busin... read more

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT ALL THE WORLD TILES DO INDEED HAVE DIFFERENT OWNERS!! I HAVE RESEARCHED ALL WORLD TILES AND HAVE ONLY FOUND NEGATIVE REVIEWS FOR THE PATCHOGUE LOCATION WHICH HAS JUST RECENTLY BEEN BOUGHT BY A NEW OWNER THUS THE REASON FOR SUCH POOR REVIEWS!!

Obviously these are competitors making up these negative comments about world tile. All i know is that imy friends and i have spent over 150000.00 in world tile and were very impressed with their sales staff and designers and i never experienced any of these ridiculous accusations that have been said.I have recomended many people and all were very satisfied with their experiences.What i really liked about world tile is that they sell everything not just tile.I bought tile ,carpet and my wood flooring there and they installed... read more

This company claims that the information written on these blogs are fake. In fact, it is public record when you have a judgement or court action. You can view the latest one from the Patchogue District Court. I am going to be very pleased when the owner is finally thrown in jail for taking people's funds, then claiming it is a problem with the credit card machine. The old " Checks in the Mail" isn't going to stop the Sheriff from taking your inventory and auctioning off any peronsal property to pay your judgement. I will be ... read more

Awaiting a rather LARGE refund for tile never received. My expierence has not been a good one. I was told for the 3rd time today the "Check is in the mail". I will give that check til Monday to reach my mailbox before I further my expressions of an extremely UNhappy customer.

FOR THE RECORD!!! I WOULD LIKE TO TELL ANYONE WHO READS THIS THAT ALL THIS STUFF IS MADE UP ABOUT US. IT IS MADE UP FROM OTHER TILE STORE'S THAT ARE JEALOUS BECAUSE WE ARE TAKING ALL THERE BUISNESS, AND THEY ARE CLOSING THERE DOORS ONE BY ONE. THEY SHOULD TRY TO TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF KNOCKING THE COMPETITION OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE ALL WORRIED ABOUT COMPETING WITH THE #1 FLOORING STORE ON LONG ISLAND. I dont know how anybody could write something bad about these people they are the most helpfull experienced gentelmen in the business I did a lot of shopping for my house renovation and I ended up at that store and they were a great help to me they had everything. After spending weeks shopping for the best prices they beat the best price I got on all my materials.
