First, I have to say I am sad to be writing this review. I love shopping at World Market. When my state had stay-at-home orders it was a no brainer to shop online for my favorite products from World Market. I placed my order on the evening of May 23rd. I realized as soon as I pressed submit one of the items I ordered was incorrect. I tried to cancel but received a message that I would need to call customer service. My order never has been shipped AND never was refunded. They can not even see it in their System. I tried to make a contact several times. Is look like you speak with the Robots, neverless. IS a ****** to order from the world market. They will bounce you from case to case. Months passing and refund is not given. I paid with the Egift card and they never refunded it. I placed an order on June 30 that included a set of dishes. When they arrived, I could hear something rattling inside the box, and sure enough, the plate on the bottom was chipped and broken. I emailed customer service immediately with a photo and request for a partial refund. They did not reply. They are inundated with complaints about long hold times on the phone, and when I tried to connect to their online chat, it was broken and would not connect.
