Paid ******************************************** stock. Gave them my money immediately and now I have to wait for a refund. This is illegal and should be reported. I was led to believe the product was in stock and now because they cancel I have to wait for my own money ??????? I will file a class action with the other women below.

The store is great, the food products and other products are wonderful but this management lady Beth is horrible. She is a general manager and friends with the store CEO and (nepotism) for some reason can not be let go. She has continually just "Not been there" during the pandemic after continuously joking "I might have Covid", "I might have west nile virus" then when she returned she let employees go who didn't call in once which she herself didn't do many times. This review is specifically for their Scottsdale, AZ location. The store there seems to have issues with minorities (as other reviewers have pointed out before). My wife works at a restaurant in that area. She arrived for work early yesterday and decided to stop in to kill time. I was falsely told that my local Cost Plus had an item I wanted so I paid in full online. Shortly thereafter I received an email stating that they in fact do not have the item after all, and I have received an unbelievable runaround instead of a refund. I have endured numerous email exchanges with multiple Cost Plus customer service and haven’t gotten a straight answer from anyone a full week later. If I could write a negative number I would. The actual store always seemed fine- but I had a complaint- misrepresentation of an online sale item. I wrote to customer care. Awful. Awful customer service- a simple apology would have been better- but no. They actually told me to go complain to a brick and mortar store when the problem was corporate misrepresentation on website. Two days ago I made a purchase of around $100. It was suppose to be curbside pick up. I waited for email - no one got to me to confirm it was ready. The end of the day I called and customer service agent gave me a bunch of excuses why it was not ready. Second day came -still not ready. I called again and was told the store had computer issues. Update on a cost plus world market I called the Ashford Dunwoody location to find out the status of the purchase items and was told they are not sure when it will be ready and was told to wait so long as it takes. Although, their website said it will be ready on the same day the store said they don’t have any knowledge of their site. I made a large furniture purchase of 6 chairs online and the VERY next day they sent a coupon for 30% off. So I called customer service and surprisingly talked to a human. I asked if they would price adjust their order and they said no but I could cancel and reorder. The agent said she cancelled order but warehouse may not see it in time, so she said she put a note on the shipping instructions to not go out. Well of course, the entire order was shipped.
