I've been cutting my hair here for about two years now and each time I come in for a haircut they do it perfectly. I really like how they handle their business, they are nice to every costumer that walks in through that door and make them feel more than welcome. What a find! As a discriminating New Yorker now living in Los Feliz, I was very discouraged about having to go west to Beverly Hills for a cut and highlights. I didn't even like most of the places I tried over there. This was by far the best hair color and cut that I've gotten since moving to Los Angeles. Always reliable – I live in the Los Feliz Village area and I always set up my hair appt's with the man himself. I've been a regular for some years now and when I decided to cut my long hair for the first time in a long time, I trusted Art with the job. I literally closed my eyes for the duration of the cut and when I opened them, I was very happy with the work. Warm, genuine and professional service is always appreciated too; not to mention trust. Jessie Rae is awesome!! – I just moved from NYC where I was paying 100+ for a good haircut and had no idea where to go in LA. A friend recommended Jessie at Works of Art and she was fantastic and as of today only charges 60 which is more than reasonable. She is sweet and easy to talk to. She completely understands what her client wants and gives them that plus advice on how to best style the hair once it's cut.
