Dr Mader has been my family physician since I have been 21. I am now 52. She has seen me through my adult life, and cared for my family. She is a thorough, mindful physician. I am saddened to have her retire but wish her well!
We were fortunate to have Dr. Mader deliver 2/3 of our children in Halifax. She provided excellent care and service during my wife's pregnancy and post-partum. Would highly recommend her as a physician with decades of experience with pregnancies and the care of small children. The office administration is, unfortunately, increasingly difficult to work with since the change of staff during the time we were still living in Halifax. Dr. Mader is a good doctor, but her reception has issues. Don't even think about calling the office less than an hour before closing time. You will not get an answer. In fact, I heard someone pick up the phone and then hang up immediately just so I would be sent to voice-mail. Thanks, secretaries.
Very pleased with Dr. Mader's care. We are lucky to be patients of hers.
