Sandwiches come in your choice of brisket, pulled pork, turkey sausage, ham and burnt ends. Other items include specialty sandwiches, ribs and their famous three-bean chili, which is a luxurious stew topped with burnt ends. Woodyards is in Kansas, just over the border and if you can't make it out here, they also provide catering services.

RecommendedWe enjoyed our barbecue from Woodward. The burnt ends were my favorite, so juicy and tender. My grandson loved the chili( actually we all did, but he wouldn’t share much.). We will definitely have that yummy barbecue again.
great place to eat I used to travel through KC ever year when I was doing RR contract work an this was the one place me an the guys loved to eat in KC .. keep on grubin!!!
Brisket was so good. Cut a little thinner than I'm used to but they make up for it by giving you a lot of it. Food came out very fast. Perfect lunch stop while in Kansas City.
Always have to get BBQ anytime I visit Kansas City! I like to try different places each and every time and this place did not disappoint! I am from Philadelphia so we don’t get BBQ like this!

there were three of us.. one got the pulled pork.. it had what I am guessing was tomatoes in it.. it was flavorless and just weird looking.. One had the burnt ends.. they were not moist as promised but very chewy and also not much flavor..one got turkey and ham.. this was actually good ..sad to say that is the only thing that was. We went with a large group of family with 4 kids from 5 to teens. Ordered multiple dishes to all share family-style and the portions were huge and the food was delicious. Wings are gigantic. Burnt end chili is to die for and a must order. Casual, chill atmosphere.
brisket had thickest smoke ring I've seen in a long time!
fries were too salty and the pulled pork had tomatoes mixed in it. the ribs were tough too
