This BBQ shack has been featured on several national television shows because of the fact that its ribs, brisket and chili are some of the best in the country. Sandwiches come in your choice of brisket, pulled pork, turkey sausage, ham and burnt ends. Other items include specialty sandwiches, ribs and their famous three-bean chili, which is a luxurious stew topped with burnt ends. Woodyards is in Kansas, just over the border and if you can't make it out here, they also provide catering services.

Tough, dry meats. Out of numerous side dishes. Definitely do not recommend.
Awesome Meal! We shared the three meat platter with burnt end, pulled pork, and turkey. Everything was great. We Highly recommend!
Great food
RecommendedLove the baby back ribs. They’re meaty and smoky. Also, good sauce and fries. They have live music on the weekends which makes for a perfect evening in Kansas City.
Food was very tasty but a little on the cool side. Great chili!!
The brisket was dry the beans were just canned beans. The sausage was more like kielbasa or summer sausage you buy at the store than what you should get at a barbecue restaurant. It is poorly laid out and yes you do not have any service once you put your order in and move over to the dining room which isn't cool enough.
The chicken wings and the burnt end chili are the best!
Everytime we drive by it smells wonderful! So is and friend tried it....little confusion in dining area....other folds in line heard us wondering if there were waitresses over there, they said yes, so we went over and sat down to no service! So went back and put our order in, yes had quick service, rides were good, beans have to agree with other viewers, no flavor straight out the can....corn was okay...not very friendly...asked for Togo boxes and felt like we were putting them out....probably wouldn't go back.
