Sandwiches come in your choice of brisket, pulled pork, turkey sausage, ham and burnt ends. Other items include specialty sandwiches, ribs and their famous three-bean chili, which is a luxurious stew topped with burnt ends. Woodyards is in Kansas, just over the border and if you can't make it out here, they also provide catering services.

Good place to grab some bbq. Outdoor seating, causal place. Had lunch with my kids and they liked it. Worth a try
We had the brisket plate, and the ribs and burnt ends plate. Competition style BBQ, everything was excellent! Highly recommend fries and baked beans for sides!
This place rules. I would definitely suggest Woodward if you’re looking for something different.

Yesterday I got the one meat meal of brisket and fries. Always enough meat to take some home for a sandwich the next day. Also, a big fan of their rib dinner.
EASILY TOP 5 in KC! I pop in for lunch whenever I'm in the area.
Been going here for years! I've never been disappointed, and I love love love the pulled pork. Their bbq sauce is different than most places, is amazing as well!
Stopped in today with my granddaughter I ordered the 2 plate meal for us to share we had the ribs and burnt ends with fries and cheesy corn I also ordered the corn muffins. The ribs were delicious what little I had as my granddaughter loved them and stole mine, the burnt ends were good no much fat on them and the cheesy corn was num num ( is that a word) loved the shoestring fries. Was completely disgusted my last visit there...run down, dirty, luke warm to cold (old) food, no ice, the employees had bad attitudes, poor service didn't give a sh.t. Etc. Will never, ever go back!
Best Chili by far, it’s topped with large pieces of burnt ends
