Sandwiches come in your choice of brisket, pulled pork, turkey sausage, ham and burnt ends. Other items include specialty sandwiches, ribs and their famous three-bean chili, which is a luxurious stew topped with burnt ends. Woodyards is in Kansas, just over the border and if you can't make it out here, they also provide catering services.

What can I say. Have never had a bad meal there. The burnt end chili is amazing. I will go back for sure.
Burnt end sandwich was phenomenal!! The onion rings were really crispy and the french fries are shoestring which are my favorite!! Not a huge fan of the sauce I prefer something sweet BUT, the meat is so flavorful as it is you don't need any sauce!!
Awesome food! Burnt ends were incredibly tender and flavorful and some of the best baked beans I've ever had. Can smell the aroma of the meat as you approach or dine outside. Only thing to keep this from a 5 star review is that the portions were a little small for the price.
Definitely the best BBQ I've ever had, but I'm from jersey. And those ribs, were the best I've ever had and I'm sure probably ever will. Totally amazed by everything we had and we tried most of what they had to offer.. Awesome food, and even better preparation! A+++++

This used to be where I would send people for the best ribs in KC, key word USED too. The meat quality has gone down hill exponentially in the last 6 mos and the chile is literally inedible now. The baked beans taste like bush's and the chicken wings were old. Last two times I went in the smokers weren't even lit. Save yourself the time and hassle and stop eating here until ownership decides to have some pride in quality again.
We came to town today to go to IKEA from Des Moines. Found this place looking for KC BBQ. The meat was good. We got burnt ends, pulled pork and babyback ribs. Nicely cooked. But the burnt ends were covered in some sort of sauce, but not BBQ sauce. Which was annoying. Speaking of which - BBQ sauce was nothing to write home about. Was an awesome pick!. Tons of places to choose from in KC so we just picked, no ryme or reason. Food was excellent n cheesy corn is a must! Got tons of food, plenty to take home with fast service. Only dissapointment was many tables were dirty when we were choosing a place to sit.

Great food, kids even loved it! Been here twice now and been great both times. Cheesy corn and corn bread are fantastic!
Brisket was sliced too thin and had no smokiness flavor. Did not like their sauce. Ribs were good, potato salad side was good.
