Great Service to Lexington & Surrounding Areas I've been going to Woodstock for many years now. I love animals & have had several dogs and cats spayed/neutered/given their shots at Woodstock. I will continue to use them. I read all the reviews and have a couple of things to add---

Try Bourbon Co Humane Society or Lexington Humane's Spays the Way Woodstock is extremely hard to reach by phone. They require you to leave your pet alone in a cage all day with cages filled with barking dogs. They are often rude. The cost is cheaper than regular vets but not as cheap as other spay/neuter clinics. Bourbon County Humane Society is a lot cheaper for spaying and neutering cats and especially dogs. (It serves all counties, not just Bourbon) It is easy to reach, quick appointments, people are nice. You get what yo... read more

Woodstock Spay & Neuter Clinic I work at a veterinarians office in Lexington and I have first hand experience with the different methods that are used in spaying and neutering animals. The way the surgeries are performed at our office is much easier on your pets. Anesthesia is used rather than a injectable, therefore the pet is completely sedated and recovers much quicker. Also, an IV and Catheter is set up and fluids are used during and after the surgery, making the surgery and recovery much smoother for your pet, and your ... read more

wonderful I'll be honest, after reading that horrible 2nd review, I was very skeptical about sending my 3 1/2 month old puppy to Woodstock for her last set of shots and to be spayed. That review couldnt be further from the truth. The receptionist was very nice and caring. They answered all my questions even though they were busy. When I picked her up she seemed great. It's been 2 days now and she is doing wonderfully, just like her old self. I couldnt be more happy with the job they did and it was so affordable. Thanks Woods... read more

Woodstock offers a much needed, reliable service. Let's see, my first experience with them was while in high school. My parents had two of our dogs and our two cats neutered there. Since then, I believe they have had two more dogs neutered there.

RE: Prices I can't believe what my veterinary clinic wants to charge us to spay our two puppies. I originally wanted to breed them and then I started looking all the problems associated with breeding. Puppies not getting good homes; the cost of keeping them; etc. etc. Then someone told me about Woodstock and I can't believe my eyes. How much does it cost to have two 8-10 lb 6 month old puppies spayed and given Rabies shots. KD

THIS CLINIC IS A GOD SEND I have 3 cats and 1 dog all the cats are strays and our dog was bought.I do not know if the person who is not revealing the name and works at the Drs. office is trying to scare people into going to a private vet or what their purpose of posting a review like that.First there is a doctor of veterinary medicine who performs the surgeries and he gives all the shots. The only difference is he doesn't make you take a second mortgage to have your pet spayed or neutered.I have been to both, the 2nd cat had w... read more
