What a great ending to a disappointing day! We came from the Port Huron area to visit the zoo on a beautiful April Saturday. Only to discover everyone else in Michigan had the same idea. We ran across Woodpile on our way home. What a gem! We loved the outdoor dining area and the food is unbelievable. And, coming from me that's a huge compliment because I'm not a BBQ lover. We'd even make a special trip back just to eat & relax here!
Brisket is wonderful. Love the bark! Had the Woodpile sandwich and the brisket chili. I'm a fan of good BBQ and this is definitely that!
Excellent food. The sweet potato mash is not to be missed. The addition of the covered patio and bar make this a great spot to hang out.

The best BBQ around. We get take-out from them almost every week. My favorites are the ribs and the jalapeno cheddar sausage. My husband loves the salmon sandwiches. Everything is good....even great!!!
Just tried the pulled pork, brisket, and ribs for the 1st time. Wow! We'll be back.
