Delicious! Boyfriend and I had a 2 meat dinner each (brisket, pulled chicken, and sausage). All three were tender and flavorful. We both chose mac n cheese and beans for ours sides and WOW are they good! Combine that with a variety of sauces (house was my favorite, followed by pineapple habanero, carolina vinegar, honey mustard, then the ginger one) and the food was heaven. Woodpile is a rare gem in Michigan! You just don’t see places like this outside of Texas and I’m from Texas! This is the BEST TRUE BBQ JOINT NORTH OF TEXAS! Most definitely some very good barbecue. Got the beans as a side but after awhile got a little too spicy. It's a delayed reaction on your tongue. I like spicy food but this was a little too much for me.
My niece & I had lunch there on Friday. Food was delicious & tender. Sat outside on a beautiful summer day.
Soooo good!!! Portions are slightly smaller than I expected but overall this is a great place....love the outdoor seating area! Will definitely be going here again!
MIghty good food! I had the brisket, sausage, bbq brisket chili, cornbread - All delicious! My friends had the brisket sandwich and pit beans and the ribs. They raved about it!
Love the BBQ...we will certainly be back for more. Highly recommend the Woodpile Sandwich and the Mac-n-Cheese.. 5 thumbs up..!!!
