It not fitting for a dog, staff is nasty, and patients are being negligented. My kin laid in that home for 2 years, got a huge bed sore that can not be treated. He is on death bed behind that. I would not put a dog in there

New building looks great!
My relative is at Woodmere. Overall, she is very satisfied with the services and care at Woodmere. She says that the nursing staff and physical therapists “know what they need to do” and do it with care and a professional attitude. The quality of the food is fine as is the laundry service. She also tells me that patient safety is important there and this makes her feel safe. Lastly, Woodmere works hard to respect its multicultural residents.
My brother is at Woodmere center following a stroke. In addition to his medical issues, my brother has no communication and cannot make his needs known. So, it is very important that those looking after him be as caring as possible. The nurses, especially Dahlia Williams, have been so attentive and kind to my brother. The rehab was great. I've got mixed emotions about Woodmere. On the one hand, I'm very happy with their Physical Therapy Program and Recreational Activities. My PTs got me walking again with a walker which is very good for me. I always have lots to do to keep me busy. At Woodmere, there are crafts and parties. I've got friends among the residents and staff. I also take care of the plants in my room. The Nursing Service and Care is satisfactory but could be better. You know, at my age of 91 when you go into a rehab center you don't always know if you are coming out. I told Woodmere Rehab that I wanted to do whatever I had to do to go home. They listened and each department was good and I felt safe. Therapy did a great job in getting me on my feet again. The activities kept me busy and the food was ok. All in all, the staff at Woodmere were professional and caring. The best part is that I am on my way home. Thanks Woodmere!
Woodmere has been my home since April 2012. I never thought about moving because this place is one of the best. They have all the services you would expect – nursing, therapy, laundry etc. All of the staff know what they are doing. They keep us safe and care for us. The meals are good too. One of my favorite things to do is going into the dining room and watching the goings on. I would recommend Woodmere to anyone, including my family
