Yesterday afternoon I had the singularly degrading experience - and one which will NEVER happen again - of visiting Woodford. There the shopkeepers greet the customer with a client service equivalent of someone passing wind in a sauna: An attitude of “eat the rich” which coincides with (lucky you) an opportunity to spend $75 on a Whitman’s Sampler. After many pleasant experiences in the St Helena shop, I am disappointed to leave a review of their terrible online customer service. I placed a gift order through the website on a Tuesday morning, and paid for Second Day Air delivery by Friday of that same week. I had carefully read over their shipping policies, since sending chocolates in June felt risky. I was at ease because they "do not ship packages to be in transit over weekends."
