Woodforest is a joke. They are not here to help their customer. They find fault with EVERYTHING. I opted out of the overdraft and they approved a transaction I did not have sufficient funds for, putting my account into overdraft. I'm paid once a month, the 1st. They approved the transaction on the 2nd. Now I'm overdraft for an entire month. The customer service Mgr told me it's the banks discretion to pay any transaction. I have 2 disputes going at the same time they are persistent at saying no error was found after I have told them several times that I did not authorize the transactions. They then proceed to deny transactions that I made that I am not disputing. So they just don't want to refund me my money. I receive Social Security every month. When there is a holiday and the end of the month is on the weekend, I have always had the check deposited on the Friday before. I wrote the bank asking why the deposit wasn't made as it should have been. They replied that " We see your incoming deposit but were given a specific date by the sender to process the deposit to your account. We show that your deposit is set to post on 9/2/2025. If i could leave zero stars I would. This bank mistakenly sent a check to an old vendor I used to do business with and would not refund my money. It was a glitch on their end and I was told several times I could dispute the charge, only to then be told I was not able to dispute and was out my $800. Needless to say after horrible customer service, I am changing banks. Very unsatisfied.

3 times I've had charges on my card that I didnt approve. All 3 times I've been told I got to personally go to the bank to fix it. Problem is they've shut them all down. There's 1 ATM in Walmart. I cant talk to a atm. So I told them contact me by phone. No call on any of the 3 charges. So my lawyer is gonna step in. I ask them to close my accounts and send my money and again they refuse. I once was a big fan of woodforest. But now I see the problem it is the .branch manager Meena Babulall. She created my problem and refuses to correct it. I am filing complaints with federal reserve board. And the O.C.C. and FDIC. Woodforest, you have completely ruined my life. You cancelled a ************* transaction that was approved, but because it was my first time using it through your online banking app with my credentials and my password, you cancelled it, which caused me to lose my place to live.
