I think it would be nice to be able to make an installment payment at your Burkhardt Branch in Evansville. Three days later and still nothing done. Yet I was promised a phone call the same day and each day since. It's been a week since I submitted the question on your website via my bank account. I am an hour away from the bank. Why do you refuse to make my payment and why the runaround. If it wasn't such a pain, I would switch banks over this!

This is one of the worst banks. My brother tried sending me my money from the sale of my condo (inherited from late father) they sent money back to my brother after his bank sent woodforest what the money was for) now his going to have fees from his bank. Terrible bank !!!!!!

Woodforest will not let me use my bank card for online purchases. Every time I try to shop online, my transaction is denied. I have called bank several times to stop these restrictions. With Covid-19, I am trying to shop more at home and online but Woodforest is making it impossible. I understand safety and security measures but I have called multiple times to fix this problem only to be treated badly and hung up on.

We opened a Woodforest account a couple of years ago and had very good service from our branch. That’s the end of the good news about Woodforest. Recently, we got a very large bank cashiers’ check to pay our HOA. It later came to our attention that the money did not go into the HOA’s bank account, and it appears that someone on the staff stole the money. We’re pretty sure it is the POA Board’s president. We went to the branch and asked them to trace what bank the money went to, so we could take the information to the police.... read more

Woodforest Bank is STEALING money from my account and I'm sure I'm not the only person. What their doing is FRAUD! They are intention holding pending transactions that have already cleared with the charging business but Woodforest is changing the date the transaction actual was charged and cleared so they can charge multiple overdraft fees. We deal with Woodforest bank in our local Walmart quite frequently to send money to our missionaries in Central America. We typically have to send separate amounts to two different employees we have there because there is a limit they are allowed to pick up in cash at once. While trying to make the transaction today, we were dealt with rudely by an employee named Erica. Woodforest National Bank is the best bank. They are really true to their mission statement of offering a high level of customer service. I emailed them my issue and they promptly responded and resolved the problem the same day. Thank you Woodforest for protecting my money.

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! Recently had debit card stolen on a Sat. and due to them not having 24 hour customer service during COVID, could not report it till Monday. Meanwhile almost $3000 was charged at local walmarts and service stations. I disputed these fraudulent charges and without an investigator even speaking with me, they were denied due to these "charges shadowing my travel itinerary". Opened an acct with them at their bank inside Walmart, so I would be able to get quarters and singles for my husband for work. I was told by REGINA *** that I did NOT need to keep a minimum balance, and I would NOT be charged any fees, cuz I’m a senior!
