This bank that use to care about customers does not care at all. There customer service employees and supervisors need better training. I have been a customer with this bank since 2013 and I had a family emergency come up with my husband who money goes into the account my name is the primary because he didn't have a ID at the time the account was opened but because my name is primary I can't get any assistance and not once has any of there employees on the customer service end tried to explain to me how to fix this situation... read more

Shady and I am looking into if withholding information that instructions given will cause intentional fines imposed soon customer and not willing to disclose any information that can help ease the difficulty of resolving it out of state from their areas of business. Refuse to take payment over the phone or by personal check or any other means that is easily trackable and has employees asking me to "just send a cashier's check or money order or cash with a deposit slip" to quote one employee who's name I could not understand.... read more
I Wish I could give this company negative stars. This company allowed another company that scammed my account to begin debiting amounts over a year later causing excessive and massive nsf fees and overdraft fees. They refuse to refund the charges instead they said they would "look" into it. Minus the fact a company that i make cash payments to debited my account and I filed a dispute with what i thought was my bank, meaning my bank would work for me or actually help me bahaha nope. Opened a business checking account on May 31st and deposited just over $500. On June 1st, before I had even activated/used my debit card my account had almost $300 withdrawn from an AIRBNB in California. I found out about this when I had a transfer kick back because of a lack of funds. After some quick research I’ve found that isn’t a rare occurrence. My wife and I share an account at wood forest. I deposit a check into the account ( not the first one for this amount$2500 or from this person) they place a hold on the check tell 10/22 it was put in there 10/11. I have explained to numerous csr and the branch manger that my light bill is due today 10/12, and instead of someone making the call to verify the check the will choose to leave my bank account without the funds to pay my light bill. Unethical Business Practices keep taking place at this bank. Today, main issue is I did not receive a receipt of my withdrawal of $. This is important! Anyone could fill out a dep or withdrawal form including the tellor! I got a receipt everytime in the past how is it you dont give receipts now. I asked the woman do i got a receipt for the withdrawal. She said "You don't get a receipt." This was a black woman with carmel colored glasses. I didn't see her name on the tag. But this is not right.
I have banked with woodforest national bank in NC for approximately 9 years. Over the years of banking with them, I made numerous check deposits with no issues. Over the past year, I have been having issues with check deposits. Today, 1/2/18, I tried to cash a check or deposit it if there was an issue cashing it.
