Last night our dinner was not only amazing, we found the first crabcake in years that we thought was better than the one we make! The roasted garlic appetizer and wild mushroom dish were hug hits as well, and with excellent service ... No complaints! It's. Busy place and the noise level goes up as it fills, but it's fun and will always be a favorite!

Great setting and good service. The food is generally good, but a bit overpriced for what it is. My wife and I used to go here a lot 3 - 4 years ago, until we realized that for what we were paying for a 3-course meal of soul food at Woodberry we could get a 5-course meal at The Charleston. On our return recently, the food was a bit lackluster. With so many good restaurants in Baltimore that either provide better food at the same price, or equivalent food for a more reasonable price, it's hard to justify going back.

I Love this quaint, rustic restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting, very friendly, they practiced A+ customer service, the complimentary valet is wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were nice. You Must try these two before and after your entree.. the Crab Pot appetizer, and the Apple Sorbet dessert.
This is my husband's and my favorite place. The food and cocktails are all awesome, their wine list offers a good variety of selections and the atmosphere is nice, but relaxed. The people are also friendly. I seriously cannot say that I've ever been unhappy when going here. This place is definitely worth it. I recommend making a reservation a good few months in advance so you get the date and time you want...that sounds excessive, but it's that popular.

Unfortunately I can't say the same about the female bartender who was detached and uninformative, even after indicating we were first timers. Seemed like she was more interested in trying new drinks and dishes with her fellow employees rather than telling us about what they feature.
