My grandpa underwent a high risk stenting procedure that had an optimal outcome, and then he went all night (over 12hrs) without receiving proper labs that could have prevented his now deteriorating condition in the CVICU at Northside Tampa. My loved one received care from your hospital, we were hopeful the surgery for stents would be successful. The performance from the Dr was what we needed. But the lack of communication, compassion and work of the staff has caused him to become lethargic and has brought our family's hopeful situation to a unsettling situation. A measly ABG test to notice he wasn't getting the proper oxygen to his brain could've prevented this all. never let yourself or your loved ones end up here. they are no different then tri star stonecrest. my father had a stroke and ended up in southern hills rehab. this place from the beginning did not make a good first impression and continued to disappoint

This hospital is despicable. Don’t take your loved ones here. The lack of communication and compassion here has worsened the conditions of my grandpa. He had just gotten off a ventilator and blood gasses weren’t taken for TWELVE hours while he laid there lethargic. Shame on you Northside Tampa.

absolutely the WORST facility. do not go here unless it is like a stroke or something but as soon as you are stable transfer to another hospital

My best friend’s grandfather underwent a major heart procedure that went well, he came off the ventilator but had an irregular heartbeat and atrial fibrillation. Instead of running and Arterial Blood Gas test that could have prevented his now deteriorating condition he went over 12 hours without any diagnostic testing. Because of this negligence he suffered a stroke that may take his life. He was expected to make a full recovery and is now fighting for his life.
