My family has always had very good care at Wesley and I’m thankful for all of the people who have taken care of my mom the last year or so. She’s been admitted for serious problems several times. That being said.....I am really upset that the Physicians group you contract with is not honest. They are balance billing even though Medicare and supplemental insurance paid. It appears to be quite fraudulent to me because the amount they have billed in the past ( same invoice ) appears to have changed a couple of times. I assume y... read more

I just had a baby 9/26/2020 My labor experience was amazing I ended up going in Friday morning around 1:00am but had to be admitted because of high blood pressure but when I was delivering if it wasn’t for my nurse Kristina I wouldn’t have delivered with anyone in the room my ob didn’t get there till the last minute but that doesn’t matter. I just wanna thank you to Kristina for helping me and not letting me give up as much as I wanted to

I’m literally sitting here on floor 8 with my stoma sitting out. Not a single person/doctor/nurse/surgeon in the entire hospital except Valerie knows how to change a colostomy bag. I just want some help please. I haven’t been allowed to eat in a day and a half because of incorrect orders. I’m a bit grumpy. Valerie is great though.

Business response:

We're sorry for any issues, Grant, and hope those have been resolved. We're glad to hear Valerie has been so helpful.

3days in ER after possible stroke. No beds on ICU to control a TPA. No plan of treatment by lack of communication between providers. Or deteriorating mentally and physically. Hematomas caused by lack of sitter at night. This is not care...👎

I went to north side hospital 4 times in one week. They REFUSED to treat me. The 4th time I went I walked in they literally said they can’t help me I walked out and went to another hospital who DID treat me and I was almost dying I was in the hospital for 3 months fighting for my life! North side Hospital should be shut down and I WILL be contacting a lawyer.

I was released from the hospital after birth with post partum preeclampsia. I was not told I had it and the staff was aware of my high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I was rushed back to the hospital a week later because my doctor was terrified I was about to have a stroke or seizure. I will never return to the hospital again. I never once saw a doctor or even a lactation specialist. The hospital is nice but the staff is horrible.

Business response:

Thank you for leaving your feedback, Brittney. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience offline. Please call our Patient Concern Line M-F 8:30 am-4:00 pm at 352-597-3090.
