RecommendedMy 22 month old became very sick on I95 after being discharged from another Florida hospital. We were trying to make it home to Maryland. I looked up from the back seat, saw an H sign, and told my husband to pull off the interstate. Little did I know that God had sent us to Florida's premier pediatric hospital. Wolfson Children's Hospital is AMAZING! After giving birth to my sweet baby girl, both of us were discharged 2 days later. After only a day at our home, I noticed something wasn't right so we took her to Wolfson's Downtown. Our poor little 3 day old baby girl was hospitalized for 14 days. I cannot begin to say how incredible the staff at 5 were to us. The nurses were absolutely amazing to our little girl and to us (mom & dad). Wolfson's has always went above & beyond to care for it's patients! We've always had a great experience considering you always visit under not so great circumstances.
RecommendedMy stepson was flown here yesterday, 2.5 hours away from home. We weren't flown to a closer facility due to weather. But everything happens for a reason! The nursing staff, techs, doctors...really EVERYONE we came into contact with at this facility were amazing!! Great to the kids and families! We could not have been happier with the treatment and care that we all received and I don't believe we would have received such outstanding service anywhere else! Twenty four years ago tomorrow, our son, was born at Riverside Hospital. Within a few hours he was moved to your NICU and spent two weeks there. We were nervous every day we went in to see him. The staff there were great, and very forward thinking. They made up nicknames for what he might be called in college. He came home healthy and full of energy. And stayed that way. They have an amazing staff that is really friendly and helpful.. their facility is very nice and kid friendly, they all do amazing work, if you have a child that has to have any kind of physical, Occupational, or Speech therapy, this is definitely the place you want to try to get your child into.
They took great care of my son... I love that hospital...
