Have been here several times. I absolutely love the staff and environment. We have been to huge children hospitals before and this is at the top of our list. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is we had a surgery date for a month but scheduling did not call with a time until 2 business days before, making childcare for my other kids impossible at that point.
You don't like being in the hospital that's a given but if you have to come come here the staff is amazing they are very attentive and mindful of your child. My son has not had to stay in hospital since birth and he is 7 years old though he asked "can we move in here I love it here".
It was for my granddaughter. I couldn't ask for better on her behalf. Great staff on the 5th floor. They all treated us with respect and top notch care. Love you guys and may God continue to bless you to do what you do for the children in your care.
I am an employee of Baptist for almost 19 years in July and my daughter had surgery there yesterday. She is 4 & she was being very difficult when we got there. Everyone was great with her even though she was fussing at the nurses and the doctors everytime they came in her room, lol. She was having a little difficulties after surgery with her oxygen level but they were on top of it everytime her levels dropped. We couldn't have had a better experience. My 2 year old son just had tonsils and adnoids removed. Everyone was amazing! He was well cared for and all the staff helped no matter what we needed. We loved it!
