I take all my fur kids to Wissahickon Creek Veterinary Hospital. They are great! I recently moved out of Roxborough but I still go there because of the doctors and staff. Getting an appointment is easy. Recently my cat got sick at 10:00pm. I called them up and they told me to bring him right in. Thankfully he is on the mend and Dr. Yard called to follow up on how he was doing and answered my questions. I highly recommend them.
The doctors and staff are so kind. My kitty had to cross the rainbow bridge today and they made it so kind and loving. Giving us time to love her until the end. Thank you for all you did for her 18 years here on earth.

I want to thank the veterinarian and the assistants who assisted our boy Nytro over the bridge today. Everyone we came in contact with was so nice, professional and caring of not only Nytro but us as well. Losing a pet isn’t easy and I’m sure the job isn’t easy either. Just know we appreciated your kindness and compassion while we had to let our guy go. We will absolutely be transferring our other pets to Wissahickon for the future.
Amazingly creative in getting my Darwin his yearly shots--somehow as he hissed and spit his ire!! Thanks so much. Best vet we have ever been to!
Will not stop sending me reminders and other correspondence (including a mailed condolence card) for animals that are not my own—clearly got me mixed up with another client. Amazingly this has been going on now for over five years (!!) even though I alerted them to the situation several years ago. My dog has only been to their practice once, and this was over five years ago. But I continue to receive mail, email reminders, and correspondence meant for other people. The staff is very professional and always take the time to listen.
I highly recommend Wissahickon Creek Veterinary Hospital! We have three dogs and have been bringing all of them here for years. When our Yorkie broke her arm they took excellent care of her. One of our other dogs cut his leg last night and needed surgery, they fit us in their schedule today right away and he is already home safe and sound. They always are super helpful with any questions or concerns even if it’s just over the phone. Never a bad experience!
