Wisner's makes Kayaking On the Muskegon River a beautiful trip, and the staff runs like clockwork for a great experience. What a gorgeous day on the river!... Saw several bald eagles, lots of jumping fish, sandhill cranes, herons and over 100 turtles basking on logs! Only a little fall color in the trees so far... But still pretty � (4.5 hour trip from Pine St to Wisner's in Newaygo).
This past summer I took my grandkids on our first floating river trip. We had a great time. Staff was courteous and answered all of our questions. I felt sorry for the bus driver on the way back because my grandsons were slamming him with questions regarding fishing spots in the area. :)
Staff was very helpful, especially the lady behind the counter. Our driver gave good instructions of where to exit the river. Equipment was newer and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the river. We weren't sure which way to go to get to the building when we got off the river. A sign would be helpful. Unless we just didn't see it? Will be sure and come back!!
I had a good time, until the tube I rented popped. I'm glad my friends rented a raft. I was able to ride in it the rest of the way back.
We may have got rained on both nights but we loved mos landing so much that before we left to come home I booked 3 weekends in 2017 already. Yes it rained most of Saturday when we were there but we still managed to have a great time tubing and kayaking. They where very helpful and explained where we needed to get off river to catch bus. Taking the kids next year
Our family has gone every year for about 14 years now. It is always a good time.
