been in and around construction for my entire life, and have never ONCE heard of payment before work, OR payment to place a bid. Oh, and by the way, price gouging is a federal crime. So have fun with all your lawsuits.
They totally took advantage of my great aunt and uncle and asked for thousands of dollars for the same thing another company did for a few hundred!

These people are absolutely ripping the folks in the Cedar Rapids area. They are charging 2-3x what it should be. Stay away from them.
My grandparents got taken advantage of as well by this company. You should be so ashamed of yourselves . I will also be filing complaints with BBB. A lawyer has also been contacted on their behalf. WireOne absolutely pathetic. I have never left a negative review for anyone as I have always been one to lift others up... during this time I can’t stay silent. What you are doing to the people of Iowa - is down right disgusting.
Price gouging during the Iowa Derecho storm. My friend’s grandparents got charged over $3000 for work that was needed. Do not use them!
Price gouging at it's finest! $3600 for little work.......And then charging me $300.00 for services I declined.......SCAM ALERT! I will be disputing this with my bank and getting ahold of the BBB.
Y’all are price gouging. We were given an estimate of $3300 + $300 emergency fee (what the hell is that?). Jokes on you ya didn’t get the $300 from us. After asking 3 other reputable electric companies we were told we had MAYBE $700 worth of work. Your company also asked us to pay upfront. Any reputable company would be able to wait for insurance. AND to top it off your lovely representative talked to some random guy that followed him to our house of half the time he was here. Get out of Cedar Rapids!
The work was top notch. The electricians were pleasant and amiable. Having said that, we called Tuesday, after the derecho on Monday. We were required to put a $299 deposit on a card to reserve a spot. We had tried several companies and not gotten an answer so we did it assuming it would come off of the top of the total bill.
