Room is always nice and we have stayed numerous times, I will say this time I was a bit disappointed with getting into our room. We were told that half the cleaning staff called out so we couldn’t get early check in. Literally would not check us in until exactly 3pm by their clock. After driving 7 hours I had to spend another 6 driving up and down peach street until check in. Called at 12 they said 1:30 went to hotel at 1:30 then told don’t come back till 3, they wouldn’t even let my wife and kids use the pool until 3pm. Ask... read more
RecommendedMy niece was visiting fr out of town.She was referred 2 a terrible hotel in downtown erie..it was just A horrible place 2 even look at from the outside,.anyways I told her 2 call the Wingate,and lucky 4 her they had 1 room left..IT WAS ABSOLUTELY A FABULOUS PLACE.. staff very nice,clean, very thing was On Point.. Great experience almost the whole stay. Check in staff was excellent making sure all expectations were met. Was dissatisfied with the hot tub in the pool area was removed!! After driving 6 hours we needed that hot tub! Good thing I reserved a hot tub room. Pool was perfect temperature. Other issue was breakfast not available due to call off. Will stay here again!
I enjoy staying at the Erie Wingate. The hotel is clean & they have a really good breakfast. I booked a King Jacuzzi Suite & it was clean, spacious & the Jacuzzi was nice & relaxing. This hotel is close to lots of shopping, restaurants & attractions.
Can't say enough about this place. We stay here at least twice a year for shopping trips. Staff are amazing, rooms are clear and the hot tub and pool are always inviting. Looking forward to our next trip to Erie.
Great hotel. Great staff. Come here every year for our annual girls shopping weekend.
Staff was very friendly and informative. Would recommend it to anyone who needs a hotel in Erie!
