They kept $429 of my deposit of $895 saying they did 8!hours of cleaning without proof that anything was changed. I have rented since late 2020 and payments have been automatically taken from my account. On July 25, 2024 a neighbor sent me a photo of an eviction notice on my door. I had received no notice of this by phone nor email. It was about a small patch of weeds that I thought was the responsibility of the HOA whose fees I also paid. My lease states I'm garunteed a spot, yet they don't enforce it because my lease doesn't state a punishment with said parking situation. And then proceeds to tell me I need to consider that when signing rental agreements.

Student renters and property owners beware! My daughter rented a home that was managed by Windermere. When she moved in a previous tenant told her that she had to pay them the security deposit because Windermere was holding onto their deposit. Now the same has happened to my daughter. Instead of collecting a security deposit from every new tenant they are holding onto the original deposit and telling renters that they have to collect their own deposit from the next tenant. had non stop run ins with maintenance coordinator rob light, ac was out for 8 hours in the middle of summer with kids and an animal. house got to 80 degrees and when we called to ask when to expect a technician he told us “we get it’s hot but hang tight”. awful and inconsiderate considering we pay rent to have stuff actually work in our unit. this has also happened with multiple other appliances with delays. good luck if you want to actually have an apartment that all listed amenities work.
