Black mold on air vents, knobs missing on washer and would not spin our clothes out, utensils in kitchen were dirty, furniture in bedrooms looked like something that someone threw out for the garbage truck to pick up. All railing outside the buildings were covered in plastic, all windows taped up with painters tape, and the elevators had cardboard taped up all inside. Unit 404 is disgusting and the owners of it need to either sale it to someone who cares or do a major renovation.
We just got back from our stay at Wind Drift in Orange Beach and could not be more disappointed with our experience. We went with 5 other families who also rented in Wind Drift and we were all shocked the building was being rented out. There was MASSIVE construction happening the whole week (construction crews on balconies at all points during the day, loud drilling before 8 am, construction crews smoking by our rooms, balconies covered in tarp with hazardous equipment laying around, cars covered in tarps without owner’s kno... read more
Do not stay here! While it has the potential to be great. It needs serious updates both for safety and cosmetics. One of our friends got stranded in the elevator this week and had to call 911 for the fire department to get them out.
We stayed in 505 at Windrift and it smelled bad and there were bugs in the bathroom and we could not use the outlet in the bathroom if my sister was using hers because the breaker box would flip every time,very frustrating.
