If I could give zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor and do not rent at Willow Creek (or any Bigos property for that matter). My sister and I lived at Willow Creek for four years, so I have a laundry list of issues to share. 1. The security here is the biggest issue. A woman was sexually assaulted. I love the staff and amenities at Willow Creek! They just remodeled my apartment and it looks great! Safe community and friendly neighbors.
Do you like paying for your neighbors’ electric bill? Do you like coming home to written warnings for infractions that had nothing to do with you? Do you like excessive move-out fees? If yes, then Willow Creek is the place for you. While living at Willow Creek this past year, I experienced extraordinarily inconsiderate apartment management. For your sake, I hope you choose to live elsewhere!
Although I love the outside pool in the summer, and I appreciate the efforts to maintain the aesthetics of the building (ex. replacing common area carpet), I strongly wish management would focus more on the building's security. Since February's incident, I have yet to see any meaningful improvements in this area which is very unsettling.
The maintenance staff is extremely friendly and resolved both problems we have had so far within 48 hours. Not only that, but Matt the maintenance guy noticed something else that could use a fix and did that as well! The office staff is very nice as well. Not giving it five stars though because of some recent security incidents. Hopefully we get some cameras installed soon!
It seemed like an amazing apt when we toured, nice amenities. I've now lived here for 2 months- the hot tub is usually broken, the water sputters and fluctuates from comfortable to boiling to freezing nearly every single shower, and multiple cops have been to the apartment at least 4x. I unfortunately don't feel safe living here anymore but the managements priorities are new elevators instead of installing cameras. I hope to see lots of change in the remaining 10 months of my lease.
No security cameras = asking for incidents. I've only lived here for 3 months and the cops are literally always outside. Help me get out of my lease!
