Dr.Mook and team consistently provide a positive experience. Today was a repeat visit and everyone treated us professionally and with great care. We highly recommend this knowledgeable physician and the entire OrthoVirginia team.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Mook. He was absolutely marvelous, very personable and has a great sense of humor. He discussed my x-rays and MRI in depth, outlining each issue with my shoulder. He answered all my questions in detail and gave me options for moving forward. I felt very comfortable with him and when the time for surgery is needed, I will certainly trust him to perform that surgery, without a second thought.
His confidence, his support, his willingness to answer any questions that I had, and his ability to explain my condition in a way that it was easy for me to understand. Dr. Mook was easy to talk to.
He listened to what I had to say. He was compassionate. He was through and to the point. I did not wait in the waiting room more than 2-3 minutes. I would recommend him to my family & friends.
Friendly, courteous, listens and very professional in his assessment of the problem and diagnoses. Would highly recommend!
X ray guy was great. Dr mook is awesome. Told me what was going on with my knee and suggested cortisone which I had already read was probably the best plan of action.

On January 12, 2022, I had shoulder surgery, at Reston Hospital, and Dr. Mook was my surgeon. The surgery went well, as did my recovery. During that year, I had several check ups, including x-rays, to see how my shoulder was healing. At every check up, Dr. Mook was friendly, smiling, and answered every question I had… And I ask a lot of questions… While discussing my x-rays.
